Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 May 2026
1. About us
Maya's Cafe is operated by Virgil Dobos at Northfield Trade Centre, Birmingham, United Kingdom.
2. Our services
We provide freshly prepared food and beverages, a daily carvery service, seasonal promotions, takeaway orders, loyalty and VIP membership options, and event catering when arranged in advance.
3. Orders and payments
Orders may be placed in person, through our ordering system, or via the website where available. Payment is required at the time of ordering through an approved payment provider. Prices are listed in GBP and may change without notice.
4. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Because food and drink are perishable, refunds are only offered where an order has been prepared incorrectly, cannot be fulfilled, or there is a significant issue with quality. Event or catering bookings may usually be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled time unless stated otherwise on the booking form.
5. Allergies and dietary information
Please tell staff about any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering. While every care is taken, all food may contain traces of common allergens and cross-contamination cannot be fully ruled out.
6. Loyalty and VIP membership
- Points and rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Points are earned only on qualifying purchases and may not be transferred.
- Benefits and discounts may change or be withdrawn at Maya's discretion.
- Abuse of the programme may result in suspension or closure of an account.
7. Customer reviews and feedback
When you submit feedback or reviews, you grant Maya's Cafe permission to display them, anonymised if requested. Reviews must reflect your honest experience and offensive content may be removed.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Maya's Cafe is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or any loss caused by events outside reasonable control. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Website use and intellectual property
Menus, images, logos and promotional materials on this site remain the property of Maya's Cafe unless otherwise stated. You agree not to copy, reproduce or distribute content without permission, and not to use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
10. Changes to these terms
Maya's Cafe may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page and take effect immediately.
